The second out of seven paintings in my brother’s wedding gift.
Trust – the most necessary commodity while painting a backlit photo. I needed to trust my skills, I needed to trust that what I was seeing was true, I needed to trust that my brush would do what I wanted it to. I trusted myself and didn’t double cross myself, I painted the face once. I wasn’t about to fix something that didn’t need fixing and end up with a mess. The result of that trust is this “superman” painting of my brother.
